One month in at Zylo, and what a month it has been.
When I started the job search, I was looking for a place with hungry leaders that were willing to challenge me and help me grow. I had several peers speak very highly of Zylo, so I decided to see what it was all about. When I came into the office and spent time with the leadership and marketing teams I experienced something that is very rarely found in businesses these days. It was apparent that the Zylo team was a group of really genuine people who would push me to learn, grow and perform at a high level. I wanted to be a part of this team.
The first month has been a whirlwind. We’ve launched an account-based marketing strategy, sent teams to three tradeshows, and planned our first national roadshow with partners. I have been able to dig in and provide immediate value, which is very rewarding.
When I think about what has made this experience different, it’s hands down the team. Our leadership is so aligned and driving us very clearly in a unified direction. Culture is such an overused word today, but the people at Zylo provide an environment where you want to show up, give it your best, and come back the next day to do it again.
In the year ahead, I’m excited to double down on new marketing strategies and get into the field to give Zylo a national presence. Being a part of our growing marketing team and learning to scale the market strategy will be a huge challenge, but this team can handle it.
